Hoboken Cooking Classes with “Healthy Hoboken Girl”

Meet Lynda, a fellow blogger friend and Hoboken girl, who is a fabulous healthy living cook and expert! She is offering some cooking classes in the months of May and June that you should definitely sign up for!

Thinking ahead to the summer months and warmer weather, Lynda came up with some healthy & light cooking classes in Hoboken. As a quasi-vegetarian and Hoboken resident, I approve.

Event #1:

‘Fast & Fresh Weeknight Dinners’ Thursday, May 17 from 7-9:30pm

In this cooking class, you’ll learn how to make:

  • quick & healthy appetizers: cucumber cups with hummus
  • carrot chips
  • crispy ‘baked’ chicken strips with lemony garlic greens
  • sweet potato wedges (umm…YUM!)
  • chocolate cherry no-bake nut balls

Event #2:

‘Summer Shape Up: Healthy Picnic/Party Ideas’ Thursday, June 21th from 7-9:30pm

In this cooking class, you’ll learn how to make:

  • goat cheese & tomato tart
  • black bean & quinoa salad
  • summer strawberry oatmeal cobbler (!!!!)
  • ‘bikini ready’ light summer ‘mocktails’

There is a maximum of ten spaces per class, so classes will remain intimate by nature with plenty of food and fun to be had.

Come hungry, prepared to learn and have a good time cooking!

Since space is limited, it’s on a first come first serve basis. To secure your spot, email Lynda at lynda@healthandhappinessbowl.com.

PS: You do not need to know how to cook to attend.

While you’re at it, make sure to check out Lynda’s healthy living blog!
