Girly Drinks: Clinton Social’s The Bootlegger and The Fruit

Back with another girly Hoboken drink… Or two. A friend and I recently went to a Happy Hour at the Clinton Social at the corner of 7th and Clinton.

Clinton Social has some great happy hour specials, like Thursday’s half price martinis. Their ‘T’ menu filled with spiked tea concotions is pretty delish as well, so my friend and I tried two different ones…The Fruit and The Bootlegger. One word: YUM.

The Fruit was a delicious cocktail blend of spiked tea, lemonade, and (I chose the bartender recommended) Blueberry Stoli to mix in.

We also ordered The Bootlegger:

This spiked specialty consisted of barcadi limon, spiked tea, Cointreau, pineapple juice, and some sprite. The perfect mix for a little buzz on your way home from work!

Of course, some yummy apps were ordered:

French Onion Soup Dumplings

Artichoke and Goat Cheese Pierogies

Both were delicious and a definite (worth-it) calorie splurge.

Make sure to stop into Clinton Social for some girly drinks and apps, or if you’re feeling extra hungry, they have a full dinner menu. Especially this week- it’s supposed to be 70 tomorrow, maybe they’ll put tables outside! I’ll be checking out and reporting about their brunch soon.

Whatever you do today, make sure you spend an hour or so outside- it’s beautiful!
