#ShopLocal: Boken Boutique – Sweet Nicholas Boutique

This is the first of my Hoboken #SHOPLOCAL series – (pretty self explanatory).

First up: Sweet Nicholas. It is an adorable little boutique located at 718 Washington Street in Hoboken that opened in November of 2010.

When I visited the shop this week, what really struck me were the super chic colors throughout the store – a lot along the neutral palate. Although one would think neutral = boring….WRONG! There were lots of neutrals, but they were definitely mixed with the latest trends. I loved this striped clutch:

I also saw super cute gray suede ankle boots. Prices were reasonable for the selection of labels and clothes that were being sold, including this adorable necklace – a key pendant with a flattened turquoise stone on a long gold chain for $110:

Among the racks I found a cute sweater that would look adorable over a fitted black long-sleeved shirt and some skinnies:

And of course, last but not least, for the Jersey girl in all of us (work appropriate[?!] leopard print):

All in all a great little shop and a reminder to #SHOPLOCAL!
