Last week I rolled out the Friday Five, which is a mix of 5 things that I just love or at least want to mention. Sometimes Hoboken-centric, other times not so much.
This week’s Friday Five…
1. PostalPix.com
I was so excited to find a site like this. In a sentence, it’s basically a site for printing your mobile phone’s (read: iPhone) pics. I can’t tell you how frustrating it is to have all of these pictures on a phone without being able to print them (and have them come out not blurry). So Postal Pix solves that problem. My friend just ordered a 4×6 from the site; I’ll let you know how it turns out.
2. Cinco De Mayo Pinata Cookies (with CANDY inside)
These have to be my favorite cookies EVER. How cute is this?! Just in time for Cinco de Mayo, too. Click here for the recipe. The only thing better than a colorful cookie is a cookie with m&ms inside. NBD.
3. Revival Vintage Boutique
This place has to be my favorite Hoboken find thus far. It’s a fantastic vintage store…that I’ll be showcasing next week. Check it out at 47 Harrison Street in the meantime.
4. 31 Hour Bag at Air Studios Boutique
Phillip Lim’s 31 Hour Bag is amazing. It’s the perfect tote and travel bag all rolled into one. The supple leather makes it easy to fold into a (large) clutch, and pretty much this bag can work for anyone, anywhere, any style. Such a statement piece, yet so classic. Make sure you check it out this weekend (whilst downing some tequila) at the Boutique Bar Crawl.
5. Channing Tatum’s New Movie Trailer: Magic Mike
Need I say more?
Actually, I do. Channing Tatum, hottie patottie that he is, was actually a stripper (before he became the eye candy of America). This movie is a true story about his experiences. I’m not complaining.
This YouTube video might be able to explain more:
Yes, that IS Channing Tatum in the parachute pants.
…And on that note, Happy Weekend everyone!
